Cameras are rolling on the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe for the tenth anniversary series of BBC One’s hugely popular Death In Paradise, marking it as one of the first BBC single camera dramas to resume filming since lockdown. Red Planet Pictures have collaborated with industry organizations, other production companies, and the BBC to establish a comprehensive Covid-19 protocol policy, incorporating safety measures such as social distancing, face coverings, and regular temperature and Covid-19 testing to mitigate infection risks. A dedicated full-time Covid-19 Supervisor is present on set to ensure strict adherence to protocols and integrate the latest guidance into the production plan. The health and safety of cast and crew remains a top priority, with the team following both Guadeloupe's regional guidelines and industry standards.
